Unavoidable administration effort for European projects is a time-consuming concern for all researchers and support for facilitating the concentration on research activities is highly welcomed.

We would like to bring to your attention the launch of the free Proposal Preparation Module of EMDESK, the Project Management Platform for FP7. EMDESK’s intension is to allow researchers to focus on their core interests – the research itself – without distractions.

EMDESK is a web-based application for the entire life cycle of European research projects within the FP7. EMDESK comprises proposal preparation, negotiation and administrative management for European research projects. EMDESK supports estimation and reporting of efforts, budgets and costs as well as collaboration for and submission of deliverables and reports. There is also an extensive export support of Proposal, DOW, Reports, etc. to RTF files.

EMDESK's mission is to help you stay focused on research and not prevent distraction from your core work. EMDESK significantly increases efficiency in all matters related to project coordination and management along all relevant phases of the research project’s lifecycle.
