Slovenia and Bulgaria strengthen science links |

[Date: 2007-03-23] Slovenia and Bulgaria have signed an agreement setting up a framework for scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement was signed in Sofia, Bulgaria, by the Bulgarian Minister for Education and Science, Daniel Valtchev and his Slovenian counterpart Jure Zupan.
The agreement will enable scientists from the two countries to work closer together within the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), said Mr Valtchev. Category: Miscellaneous

Brussels 26th April, 2007Call 2 of the ICT programme includes research in the area of photonics components and subsystems. The Call is expected to open on 15 May 2007 and to close on 9 October 2007. To prepare for this Call, an Information Day on Photonics will take place in Brussels on April 26th 2007 at Avenue de Beaulieu 25, room 0/01. The photonics topics in the 2007-2008 Workprogramme will be presented, followed by the chance for prospective proposers to present their ideas and meet potential partners. An agenda is attached. |
